Katrina - Krrish sequel looses
Had she accepted the offer, we would have seen quite a fresh couple on screen.
The doubts have been finally cleared as to who will be the leading of Krrish 2. The buzz was already making its rounds about Deepika Padukone who might mostly take the mantle. However, there was also Katrina Kaif in the director’s choice list. And now, they said to have confirmed on the tall dimple beauty.
Rumour mills spill it out that in fact Katrina was the preferred one. But as the lass had given her nod for Dostana 2, it was not possible for Katrina to accommodate to this Hrithik starrer in her work list. And so Krrish 2 chose over Deepika instead.
“Rakesh Roshan came up with the idea of pairing Hrithik opposite Kat. They both would look really good together and it's a fresh pairing. But she wasn't too sure if she could commit and declined the offer politely,”
Katrina - takes stage in Dubai
Katrina Kaif sometime back was strictly advised by doctors to take rest for few months as the actress was suffering with low haemoglobin count. Katrina had once fainted in an event and after that she was under treatment in the city’s hospital.
Despite being weak, Katrina went ahead with a show that was held recently in Dubai. She was supposed to groove along with Salman Khan. However, when the actress’s illness spread word, the audience who had booked their tickets for the event night were perplexed. But our beauty didn’t let down the organisers and made her presence on the stage, just by waving to the crowd and doing few steps.
Grapevines have it that the actress was paid a pretty amount just for appearing on the stage…
Ajab Ranbir -Ghajab Price
The honhar (read talented) Kapoor bachcha is fetching good returns & why not. The current flavor of Bollywood is in great demand.
Our birdie informs that Colours have paid a whopping Rs.4.5 crores for the telecast of 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' on its channel.
Ramesh Taurani, producer of 'Ajab...', says it won't affect the film's collection at the ticket window.
"The satellite premiere of 'Ajab' is happening at December end which is two months after its theatrical release. The theatrical business nowadays is for four weeks, however successful the film," adds Taurani.
Refuses to part ways - Katrina Kaif
It has nothing to do with her handsome beau Salman but its her ‘Audi’ her first major proud obsession after Sallu that she refuses to part ways in spite of troubles.
Our birdie informs that all top mechanics of the city have asked her to let go of her damaged vehicle by either selling it off or giving it for full body repair.
The mechanics have also told her that by riding in the same car she is risking her life.
But all this has fallen on deaf ears because Katrina says she is very sentimental to let this car go because it is "one of her first big cars".
A close friend of Katrina reveals: "Katrina is one sentimental girl. Very few know that Katrina is very possessive of her things.
She likes to keep all the things that she uses no matter how old they become or how bad their condition gets.
Be it her old wardrobe, music CDs, books and knick-knacks.Katrina always loves to hoard her belongings."
The informer adds: "The Audi was one of her first cars and in spite of it being damaged recently, she does not wish to let go of it. The car was badly damaged by some fans of the actress while she was promoting her film. Her fans had damaged the glass and side doors of Katrina's car and though she has the option of buying another, she refuses to."
Adds our birdie, “Am so happy that Salman has nothing to fear when someone like Katrina is his dear.”
